During the Spring Festival holiday, SIP’s Yangchenghu Peninsula Tourist Resort received 837,600 visitors, an increase of 16.6% year-on-year, and the tourism revenue surpassed RMB230 million, up 42.3% YoY.

The resort offered diverse attractions. The Suzhou Yangcheng Peninsula Theme Park is hosting a festival carnival which will last day and night till Mar 3. Participants have the chances to interact with 100 NPCs (non-player characters), watch breathtaking motor vehicle shows, and enjoy the immersive live-action show “The Return of Zhuangyuan”.

Suzhou Village, an outlets mall which is a member within British company Value Retail’s Bicester Village Shopping Collection, attracted crowds with its “Seeking the God of Wealth” activity and a series of traditional performances and parades.

Ui ART Center offered free admission along with 100 cups of free milky tea to visitors on the first day of the Chinese New Year.

Hotels in the resort offered spectacular fireworks shows, festival meals and diverse activities, giving their guests special experiences.

Though the holiday ended, the fun is continuing. By Mar 8, users of the “Travel in SIP” tourist service platform have chances to get digital vouchers for consumption in SIP.
